    What lube should be in a winch.

    Another option is "Corn Head Grease". Go to John Deere and they know what it is. Used on high speed gears on the combine head. Thicker than the 90wt but not as thick as wheel bearing grease. Will not leak as bad if the seals are not keeping the 90wt in.

    There have been a few threds on using the 15.5's / 395's on stock rims. I tried and kept pinching the tube and it is a B***H to get the lock rings on. If you could compress the tire it would work better. They might crown some in the center but if you keep the presure low it should not matter...

    He is. I know he was looking at a yoke off of a NP200 and a good whack with a hammer to make it fit. Not sure he has the found the right combination yet.

    I have taller bows on my truck. Thebows are about 13" taller at the center than regular deuce bows. Will a FMTV 12' cover work? I think the FMTV covers are taller than the deuce, am I right?.

    20 tons at ($210 per ton) ($0.105 per hundred) = $4,200. That is not taking out for cutting up and shipping. Unless you are have a scrap yard yourself I cant see scrap bring $0.25 per hundred.

    Bellhousing issue

    RE: 3053A bellhousing Well I had another idea. The old motors had the starter mounted to the bellhousing. The newer motors the starter mounts to the motor. I might be able to use my current flywheel and starter with the old cast bellhousing if I can adapt a clutch fork.
