One amusing thing you may observe,,
When I drive one of my trucks in town and someone on the sidewalk sees it coming, about 80% will take a step backward as they watch me drive by. But to see the same from people as a citybuss or OTR truck goes by seems less prevelant.
Have fun,

Nice looking work ! Be sure to get a weatherproof cap over that pin & sleeve inlet.
Being it cost you a goodly bit of money, You dont want crud or corrosion getting inside it !

Would not surprise me if part of the reasons this proposal is some kind of revenue generating scheme.
With folks paranoid & paying for a "better safe than sorry" game on dis-used clunkers and future project on the off chance they will get grandfathered as valid titles if this BS legislation...
You might look into kevlar paneling. Its widely used a lot in constructions of banks, Embassies, etc. wherever a bullet resistant wall or service counter is installed.

I've driven many tractor pump motors on the street, Mercedes Unimogs. It's almost automatic the way your brain to foot action compensates for the constant HP type of govenor. The only time I would notice something strange is when you've got the pedal mashed down while coming up a steep grade...

Just curious, Air and electric starter can be real nice sometimes.
Firepump is about...
Nice headlamps !
Being from the cold country first thing to my mind.
Would LED headlights emit enough heat to keep themselves melted free of ice & snow ??

I am suspicious of this,
A truck abandoned in the forest for years where someone could just drive up to it...
Is it somewhere in the United States ?
Where's ALL THE FREAKIN BULLET HOLES ?
I was in Portland last week, Saw a Unimog with "KUK OST" as it's license plate.
I nearly peed my pants laughing so hard. Only us Scandinavians would understand...
My experience is air starters are mainly on delivery trucks. They may restart dozens of times in a day. Airstarter is much simpler and longer lasting over electric
Also the battery demand, maintenance etc. is less.
Also dual starters are an option on many motors, one could be electric, the...
My buddy went round and round with a bunch of B.S.'ers claiming the 6TL's are for military use only.
He now swears by Deka. (I'll agree with him nice battery for the price. Hawkers would be awesome But I'd rather not pay $400 each.)
The Deka rep only asked he sign a statement that the...
