I'll use first or second low. If in doubt, use first. Going slow is fine, going too fast is not. First is so slow and controlled. I use the throttle almost exclusively to control speed.
Corn head grease. I don't know the specifics but that's the name. My gearbox have that grease in it. I drained it and put 90W in. If it leaks much I'll switch back.
I used over a gallon of Rapco 383 green to cover the truck (thinned with 20% Xylene). Then I painted the black and brown with Rapco rattle cans. I agree with the amount of rattle can mentioned above. Almost half the truck is black when you do the math.
