I had one that burned oil once because the rings were stuck. After I loaded it at 100% for a few hours, the rings released and I never had another issue. I wish you the best of luck.
Flip the access door on the top of the ASK. Then look inside and to the right, if your standing directly in front of the unit. Its in the same location as any other 003a.
Most of the people, like myself buy in bulk. When an auction takes place from the various online sites, they usually place a large number of units for sale at one time. When that happens I will buy as many as possible because it reduces freight cost. Then I resale all my units on craigslist or...
I've got the manual I think you need but can't figure out how to attach it so I copy/pasted it below.

Jimc is the only person I know that makes direct replacement digital gauges. I have bought 5 full sets and several hertz gauges from Jim.
If any of the units I work on need gauges, I buy Jim's. When he first developed these gauges, I bought some of the first and they are still performing...
Start the generator and get it up to 60 hertz immediately. Also, one thing to remember when starting these, you need to hold the start switch in the start position for approximately 10 seconds after the generator starts. Just let it run for a few minutes and look for leaks or other problems...
It really sounds like you have air in the fuel lines. If you download the tm and look for priming fuel system, it will show you how. The very first time I changed the fuel filters in one, I had similar problems. After I read the TM and I bleed the air out, no more problems.
First thing, is to drain the fuel tank and see how much rust/sludge is at the bottom. The fuel is the worst enemy of these units. After you clean the tank, go to the fuel pumps and check the filters inside, then change the fuel filters and finally check to see if the throttle lever moves up and...
The temperature you are reading is normal, 190-205 is normal operating temp. If the unit truly has 24 hours, then more than likely it has not been loaded. If these generators are not loaded, they will build carbon in the exhaust system. If your the first to put a load on it, then you will see...
You don't need to remove the pumps to clean them, usually a 5/8 wrench will fit the bottom and twist them off. You should have a screen, rubber gasket and magnet stuck to the bottom part of the pump that is removed. Sometimes you will have to reach inside the bottom with the your finger to get...
If the solenoid is not retracting when starting, it's not the low oil pressure switch. The oil pressure switch only takes effect after you release the master switch from start. It sounds like your having solenoid issues only. Check you grounds first, I've had two units where the solenoid would...
If the injector pump lever does move up and down with little effort, I agree you should be fine. It is a good idea to take the cap and everything out to see the plunger move in and out. But really not necessary if the lever is moving freely.
If the pump is gummed up, it will be very difficult to...
I have not had any with major problems but I've been lucky. Of course the biggest problem is if water gets into the exhaust. Sometimes, govplanet will do oil analysis and post them so you can see exactly what is in the oil, making sure there is no water that has penetrated the oil.
Most in the south have been going through without starting the units. I've bought several from govplanet that said could not start but when I went to pick them up, they all fired right up.
Have you tried switching the battle short switch on to bypass any safety switch. Also make sure your low fuel warning light is not on. If there is not enough diesel in the tank, the warning light will be on and the fuel pumps will not work (even with the battle short on). I had one that had a...
