Well, in our winters we get -25, rarely -35 and this is C, not F ;) I have pushbutton GP, never used afterglow, just let truck idle more on those cold mornings (block heater is big help too). Sure, original card would be nice but my wire loom is very neatly cut and isolated, i dont have card...
heh, on my 1008 i first checked this on glove box. Just after week or two realised that army replaced for some reason glove box door. Real VIN was different, probably options (hehe, options) too...

My 1009 has button, works fine for me, 1008 card is probably fried but i have not touched this part jet.

Well, army stuff. Whoever worked on that engine, took first set of pistons, he found. Thats why engine bored to max. Maybe he was carpenter or painter :D
