As for removal the only tip I can think of is to go to Harbor Freight and get one of the small furniture dollys for $10. Tip only works on a nice concrete floor though or you'll be cussing me.

It uses air for reverse and not 5th gear. When you put it into reverse you will hear and maybe feel it. I'm not a transmission guy and there isn't any linkage to adjust but you can take off the top cover and look at it.

Did you look in the manuals to see if there is an adjustment (other than clutch)? No electronics. They use air to do things. Mine that I sold was a great truck.

I just got my M915A1 insured and got the whole "you can't do this or that from the agent" (Hagerty) on the phone. Funny, the actual policy says something different. :)

Sad to say this is why I long for the past when insurance threads were not allowed. What you advise someone to do or try is almost always not going to work in another state or for a different truck. Furthermore telling your insurer that your HET is a camper will work right up until the truck...

I like the thread. I mounted an MRAP toolbox on the front of mine and Gimpy and I put a spare tire carrier under the back almost like yours. I also put commercial lights on it along with two pieces of PVC pipe (1 per side) on the sides to hold amateur radio masts. (y)

Good news. I'd swear that bumping the transfer lever can't ever happen. (More than once per day anyhow) ;-) In all reality I kept all my trucks in my barn with the t-case in neutral along with transmission. Now build or buy a power bleeder and go through the system.

Actually bleach is not good for killing mold. It may clean the surface but I believe vinegar is better. Who knew. I didn't believe but it will kill it. (Then use bleach to clean it up. :ROFLMAO: )

This stuff was recommended to me by a friend that has a boat detailing business in Florida. It works on the vinyl for sure...

I fall back to what I suggested, Parker Hannifin. Unless I find something better I will be using these or like them on the back of my newly acquired M915A1 as I freshen up the glad hands and valves. It is a full air brake system and would be easier to lose air on it than on a Deuce or M809...

A recommended fix in an emergency situation. BUT, now is a good time to make it right. ;-)
