    Eco Hubs and 3.07's - in a 2000 M1088 with a 3126 (~24k pounds)

What was the mpg prior to the ECO's?

This typo will catch your eye...

Actually, that's a great price for a clean trailer w/ independent suspension. Deck is 6x10 so I'd say an ATV hauler at best. It's too current to have been made for hauling the good old Chenoweth's back in the day. :)

    Someone tampered with Sgt York!

I don't know about locks, but I've pondered a small canvas "sock" cover. Out of sight, out of mind for f******g with by civilian know-nothings.

    Someone tampered with Sgt York!

I have two of my security cameras pointed at my truck for that very reason (low lifes renting down the street). When the security system beeps, I go looking for some range time...

That's the one I have on my dual battery setup.

Bed Side Panel Storage M1078 A1

Odd. Be sure to slide them in as shown in the diagram (hinge up). I somehow got four to fit (honestly don't recall if the tailgate slipped in there as well).

Bed Side Panel Storage M1078 A1

I stowed mine once when I had my first truck. Two per stowage compartment, iirc. Don't remember what you are supposed to do with the tailgate. The stakes and crossmember poles will stow as well. The vertical assemblies remain upright and stow in the forward most slots at the from of the bed.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Agreed. I'd love some detail on the 30 minute install. I mean is it "Step 1; Use your 50 ton material handling crane and remove engine" or "remove wheel, turn four bolts, replace wheel"? I admittedly have never broken down one of these hubs but I sorta get the gist. I'm VERY good at...

    MRAP Light Set

There is a newer version with all LED's. The entire 46 and 24 bars are solid LED like an Amazon bar (I don't think the LED version had the pods). If you search eBay for "ibis tek light set" you'll see some funny stuff. This kit is listed for a grand; a single 46 bar is $6300. A few...

Oh yeah, mine arrived last month.

1078 A0 engine starts, runs for anywhere between 8-30 seconds... [newbie ? buried in a long post]

If you only need to drive it less than a mile, could you gravity feed it with a fuel can and a short hose. Eliminate any leaks or pump issues? Get it to the barn at least.

Was there a final correct answer on the LM/FMTVs being EMP proof ????

Like being able to hold up an MTV cab with your skull? I've heard of such powers !

    MRAP Light Set

Yeah, as much as everything checked out and looked to be 110% legit, I wasn't going to post about it until mime shipped. Too many questionable "too good to be true" things on the web. But yeah, could have saved on shipping had I pushed it out there sooner. Still, for under...

    MRAP Light Set

For those looking at shipping, I used uShip. Shipping was $240 CA > TX via uShip (I took the cheapest which was Roadrunner's quote). I typically get a quote from uShip and then check directly with the low bidder (sometimes it's even lower).

Yep, fun stuff. Looking forward to making the cab rack now so I can mount them up.

Fmtv engine swap to a Detroit 50 series.

Do you currently have an LMTV? Just trying to get perspective here. What makes you feel your Cat engine is going to die?

    M1078 remove 2 batteries

Mine's a M1079 shop van, so I have a lot of flat roof space. On an M1078 I'd maybe mount a pole with a flat plate on the top over the air intake or something. On my M1082 trailer, I have mounting points on each corner for flag poles. I use one for the trailer's solar charger. That's...
