For the truck I made a 4"x4" drop-in so it could be moved to any one of the four corner posts (that's what they are for).
Total cost is about $250 after paint.

I'm only using two batteries for the truck. The other two are set up (for now at least) as house batteries for the hab. I like the idea of being able to charge my external house batteries with the alt but never drain the truck...

You might want to price new glass. Unless someone with used is local, you'll be surprised to find that new is typically cheaper than "surplus" in this (and many other) LMTV situations. There's a glass vendor who sells and ships new (the company name escapes me at the moment, but someone here...
