Well, The turbo on a 427 hyprercycle was for power, not to clean the exhaust. The injector pump moved a lot of fuel into the engine, guess that's why they smoke SOOOO much. My experience with the M35A1 truck is that it has a lot more on the ground horsepower than any M35A2 I own. I own a lot of...
Does any one here have a good knowledge of what accessories can bolt from the 427 to the 465? We are planning on taking the intake, exhaust manifolds and turbo charger from an expended LDS 427-2 and installing on one of our LD 465-1C engnes. We also plan on installing the 427 injector pump and...

Hello all of the Steel Soldiers, hey, are the selectros actually available to purchase as of right now? I am thinking that they are not in production any more. I need to be corrected, or somebody agree with me if you also know we can't get them any more.
Next, I am going to measure the...
Maybe your drag link adustment is loose, it really makes a big difference. The end screws in with a drag link socket to tighten the cups around the ball end of the steering arm. Make sure it is greased. Good luck, JT
I have the 24 volt type with the LED indicator. I have one on my M543A2 wrecker and one on one of my M51A2 dump trucks, they both sit a lot and they both have 6TL batterries that were new since I bought the trucks. I let both trucks months at a time and they ALWAYS crank over and start on their...
RE: cover
Jimmy, I have the tops and rods in stock all the time. Wayne, I use my canopy whenever I need the wrecker and it really helps on the sun in your face. I didn't design it, I just build what the Military invented on their own, using Military intelligence!!!!!! John T
Yeah Kenny I just got here too, I would have told him it looks just like the operator's covers I make for the wrecker guys. I make the hoops and bows too but they are tough to ship cheap. I'll have to get here earlier for the next trivia question!!!!
RE: Trans input shaft
My M51A2 dump has a 1.75" input shaft. I think the 800 series does too. The alignment tools are made also by OTC. You can get them at truck shops. Also the Snap-on man or Matco tool man has them. John Tennis
And another filter available is Baldwin BT-124. It filters at advertised 12 Micron rating. The company tells it's dealers that it is a 10 Micron rated filter. Anti drainback is the correct term, dabtl. And I'll work on the secondary and final adaptors. John Tennis
RE: More pictures
M35A2 co-owner has a military MWO applied modification here. The spin-on filter base peplaces the cannister type base. Hercules did this on farm tractors and the military picked up on it. If you can find one of these bases for sale, it would be a good buy. This base uses a...
Deuce Spin-On Oil Filters
As long as the thread came back up, To up date you guys, I have sold a bunch of sets of these filter adaptors and have put them on 5 of my trucks now. No problems No leaks. My time to pressure is between 2 and 5 seconds, depending on motor condition. I have noticed a...
RE: Re: Anybody have experience with this guy?
I bought some 15.50's from him. Perfect deal, very easy going. When I need more I'll get a hold of him. JT out
RE: More pictures. 1968
Thanks for the great photos, I just built a Gun Truck to show respect to all of the guys who put their time in Vietnam. I wanted to be a CB, didn't work out. JT out
