I think the storms and the normal weekend surge of threads is pushing the MV thread too far down on the "new posts" line for people to realize its there. Maybe make it a sticky?
I crossed the Rubicon and joined the red team for once :clinto:.
With tractors, I am always on the green team

After spending a few weeks pondering what to buy and where to get the $$, by pure luck...
Aw shoot, I was just planning on working my behind off to get my M51 ready for the October MV of the month. Now I have to find another motivation.
Whatever. Great idea.
Maybe put a big bowl during the GA rally out at the registration as well? This is not going to be solved in a few days!
Why not go the other way around? As mentioned in earlier posts, use a smaller car for close-up chasing, and a large heavy car to stay at the edges.
Sounds like you are making something big top-heavy and slow even heavier but not really safer. We used an old European Citroen BX for...
Reading Dave Doyles appendix on coloring and marking and reading a ton of threads here, I realized my original ideas about which color to paint my truck were horrible naive even taking in account that the military never is known for its logic on important issues.

Reviving the cordless impact wrench thread: which is better
Reviving last year's thread because I am going to buy one, not sure which of the two.
Current 1/2" cordless impact wrenches top models seem to be the from Milwaukee or DeWalt, as said here and elsewhere on the net.
Milwaukee has...

Probably this was already noticed earlier, but I could not find anything on it. Or it...
Lots of discussion going on making the 5-ton M39 series a dual circuit, but I think till now nobody here did it (or I missed the thread). I am preparing for it during the now starting repair period.
Can you give a good link to a pinion brake set and do they work on a 5-ton? I saw some threads...
Welcome to the dumpsters
Looks exactly like mine. Yep, M51A2 Multifuel. Indestructible.
Dump to tractor conversion: piece of cake, that is, if you rent a magnetic drill.
Mine is switchable between dump truck and tractor, switching takes less than an hour, I need to streamline it...
We did it
:jumpin: :clinto: :naner: :tank: :driver:
Reloaded the 145 Ah 800 cca battery. Turned out that my son had a new 155 Ah 900 cca battery in his forklift we could use as second battery.
We had the air filter out in the sun, pre-warmed the filter housing a bit and then reinstalled...
 This is new for me.
Unfortunately, TM 20 does not have a good pic of that area, mostly grayish without any details. Dismantling it and checking it out in detail was planned for later, so I will put it forward to today, if I can get to it; that location is a pain to reach from above...
