I was watching that one too. Funny thing is, 2 of the "scud launchers" are sitting in a yard near to me. The owner used to loan out MV's to the movie companies. I got to hear how he had to mock up the missiles and the launchers and what it took to raise them up in the launch position.
Not sure is the fuel push rod setup is the same for the Diesel and Gas engines. But on a SB chevy block (Gas) the mechanical pump push rod has to be put in the block before the cam shaft is inserted and pushes down to the fuel pump. So if you don't get it lined up, it drops to the bottom of...
No they wouldn't. There is no heat being generated by the LEDs themselves.
I have the winterization cover for my deuce and it has the lexan covers over the headlight area so even when I had the standard bulbs, the snow would build up on the lexan covers instead of the lights.
It depends on how close they already are, but I'd say between an 1/8th and 1/4 turn would be a good start. But remember, go too far and you'll run out of pedal travel, so test the travel before you start to drive it again.

I'm all for "field modification" Just keep the OD 'cause gloss gets scratched on the trails.;-)
I'm sorry that I missed out. I went to preflight the Deuce Friday night, hit the starter got a clunk and no more.
Pulled the battery tray out and found a bulging smoking battery.:evil::evil:
Can't wait to see the pics.
You gotta watch out for those short wheel base trailers.. They turn real quick...

So name your favorite flush method.
I changed my gear oil in my tranny on the Deuce a couple of weeks ago, and put in MobilHD plus 80W-90 that conforms to the MIL-PRF-2105E standard.
Soon after I changed the gear oil I noticed that when I would shift into 4th gear, the syncro's were really...
