I got the old one out and new one in. Now my stinking oil pump isn't building pressure. I've posted a thread about it. Probably going to order a new pump as I'm not sure of the condition of the donor pump. If that doesn't get it... I'm repowering. Probably a 4bt diesel.
I broke the fitting to the block that Ts into the line to the head and the oil pressure sensor. I pulled the QD and oil did, indeed, fly.
My oil pump was kinda thrashed on the bottom, I think from debris circulating when the piston took a crap.
And being as I don't know the status of...

Here's where I am:
I rebuilt the T230 Tornado, no oil pressure on the electric oil pressure gauge, so I put a manual testing gauge on and still no pressure.
I pulled the oil pump and made sure it's primed, still no pressure on the gauge.

Ok, final update until I get home....
In a nutshell, I pulled the engine three times. The last time I pulled it, it was because the timing was WAY out..... I ended up finding the spiral gear for the oil pump was ganchy, so I pulled my OF one off, then it was various other issues until I pretty...
Once I got the "new" engine, it was time to star pulling good off of my OG engine and transferring it to the "donor" engine.
I started with the head. I ordered a complete gasket kit as I wasn't sure what all I would be running into, and I didn't want to have to stop and wait for orders to come...
