And not to brag or make you feel bad, but this is what I'm talking about. This is a subsea robot I work on (Remotely Operated Vehicle):
This is the square can in the upper right of the above picture while we were repairing it:
And this is it 8 hours later:
If I have to reopen that can...
To be honest, I work with systems that have hundreds of wires, from power/ground to signal and telemetry. If I opened a can on my system and saw what you posted, I would undo it and start over and run them neatly, verify what is what and build it back to spec (your wiring diagram).
That way you...
Not to be argumentative, as you are MUCH more knowledgeable than I about a lot of this, but I'm confused now as the TM doesn't mention a diagnostics port:
What got
What got me looking at it was that I have the same cap assembly under my dash- circled and labeled item 20 on this:
Which is item 20 on the drawing above... so if you could remove that cap and take a pic, I would be grateful!
It really didn't bother me until I was at a parade and the Amvets were checking it out and an Army vet who was motor T for 25 years pointed it out to me, and now every time it kicks on it bugs me.

Without me being home to look at it, I can only go off descriptions... the TM stated it was for a "trouble light" and that's a pretty specific description, so I did a dedicated search for the term "trouble light" and ordered the results.
Like I said, if it isn't the correct light, it isn't too...
So you're saying the light I ordered **isnt** the light that goes to my plug? 🤦♂️
Meh, if that's the case I'll pay it forward to someone who can use it... 🤷♂️
All-
I've noticed when my fan kicks on (usually when I'm sitting at idle in traffic in Louisiana summer heat), my fan clutch is rattling. It's not a bad rattle and of course stops when the truck is moving again and I have air flowing over the radiator...
I've checked the tms (-10 and -20) and...
Louisiana was much better prepared this time. I've seen oy one reported loss of life and that was from a tree falling through their home.
Of course, New Orleans and most of South East Louisiana is without power, but that really isn't surprising considering the force of the storm.
Once again...
