    Deuce re-power with Cummins 8.3 from 931A2

I don't think the frame will support the weight of the 400 without making it more beefy. The block is also longer and would have a hard time fitting it without making massive changes. You would be better off using a 5 ton (M923) model fitting that engine. I don't even think the 800 series...

    carc paint question

You could go with Rapcoparts.com and use the Gillispie paint that matches perfectly with CARC for less than half the cost and buy enough to have extra incase of crashes. A lot cheaper and you still get the same look. The paint will also hold up. Just make sure to have it dry before adding...

Black bumper and guard or all 383 Green?

On my Deuce I did the grill, front bumper and winch all black. Looks sharp. It all depends on what you like and if you are going for historic accuracy. Mine isn't historic, but it sure does look good!

I am Interested in Designing a M35A2 sweatshirt and would like input from SS Members

OK I took some input and came up with a design. I could change it to add solid colors: green, brown, black, tan with black lettering. Let me know what you think. I believe t shirts would be around $10-12 before shipping if I order enough. Let me know what you think.

It's been one year since we started this hobby...

Thank you all for the kind comments. I did forget to mention we also purchased a MKT from John Lloyd with basically everything. We have bought some odds and ends since but we are looking to use it at military shows and car shows or local fairs throughout the summer.

It's been one year since we started this hobby...

It has been about 1 year since my father and I caught the green fever and started this new hobby of owning military vehicles. After one year we have learned so much about not just our military truck, but other people's projects and other vehicles. I am still amazed at the wealth of knowledge...

I am Interested in Designing a M35A2 sweatshirt and would like input from SS Members

As far as copyright issues, I am not using the entire logo, only part which gets around the copyright. Actually I am taking part of the data stamp and then having the print shop duplicate the font and image using a smiliar font, it might not be perfect, but it will be very close. I will...

    LED vs HID headlights

Prefer LEDs. They draw less power, last much longer, are brighter than stock, and have the "cool factor." They can be pricey but if you watch for them, you can get them reasonably cheap. I know trucklite also sells LED flood lights that are 24V and are even brighter than the headlights. They...
