I removed my CTIS last year , rear's were a piece of cake . remove the tire , pull the axle , remove the CTIS bearings , burn off the epoxy and air line ,clean up the hub and install your A2 seals and bearings . Fronts require you to install A2 spindle's + seals and bearings . Not a bad job ...
Looking forward to a display of the MV construction and fire equipment , hope you have a good turn out . Missed last year being it was on the west cost . Signed up for the FT. Knox tour with some members of our MV Club . Louisville is a great place , should be a good show .
That is a great video , thank you . I like the guy at the end who is looking for the engine in the front of the Sonimobile , must be here someplace ! LOL
WOW , some Dis- Assembly REQUIRED . After looking at that , I wonder if you have something else going on in the DIFF also . I would drain the fluid just to see if any parts are in the gear oil . Another thought is if you find that there is something wrong with the front DIFF , you might want...
Strange they would do that , I am thinking somebody did not have a handle on how the all wheel drive operates , but o... Well , get a couple of caps and you should be good to go . EASY FIX , BTW , welcome to the site and good luck with your new ride , where in Canada? bob k

Possibly a bad wheel bearing , causing to much play in the axle shaft . I would start with checking condition of the all the bearings and seals in that wheel .
Ya , BUT he MISSES all that fun PLOWING SNOW on the JD when it is in the MINUS numbers !!!!! so there , so there LOL !!! still here , still cold in BUFFALO , BTW , wish I was THERE , great pictures , bob k
If anti-freeze mixed with the trans. oil because of a bad cooler , the trans is probably NG . The anti-freeze takes the friction material off the clutches and bands . The shudder maybe a loss of pressure issue . I would do a fluid and filter change and see what you find , it's the easiest and...
What is the problem with your system ? , can it be converted , yes , you would have to find a points distributor from a salvage yard , but why would you want to go back to points ? There are any number of aftermarket Electronic Distributor's on the market .
