Sounds like a big adventure for the spring. Even though I'm on the East coast, keep us posted as to your progress, maybe Murphy will stay here & not bother you during you trip.
The trailer comes with two adjustable stabilizer legs & landing pads. They are attached to the front or rear supplied mounting points for what ever you need. The RTT you speak of, what are you trying to install on the trailer? I pick two rear corners for height & stability & use the front...
Okay, since you twisted my arm & I want a quality set of lock out hubs (along with a few friends); count me in on the buy for a set! Friends must chime in for themselves.
I haven't done any recoveries from GP yet, but all my GL deals were good to go thru this year so far. Call & let them know you are coming & they can help you thru the loops. I had a pickup in Atlanta last summer & they usually are open till 14:00, the lady there let me know that her yard guy had...
A Green Iron graveyard, straight to the scrappers, (unless rescued by a SS member or others). That is so wrong to see, but in this economy; anything goes. Too bad we can't scrap the Iranian centrifuges & their equipment to make a bunch of nuclear weapons...we will pay for this day in the near...
I wish I had your faith in getting a DRMO vehicle off the lot & running. If that was the case, the back lot would have many more trucks in it here @ Camp XRay. Good luck with getting your truck home to work on it; maybe even trailer/ship it so you can work in the safety of your property, not on...
The system will allow you to get everything lined up to be a member, but you have to add where you live manually. The mods & other members will make sure of that, it's a great place for info & help with your green iron disease problem. We all have it.
Welcome aboard.
I am looking @ replacing boots due to what I see as an oil seal failure coming back from the Mt Dora, FL. MV meet a few weeks ago. The truck has original zippered boots from WRAFB early last year. This info posted does not make me want to tear into the front axels to replace the seals, much...
No, those are designed for sex & when you get it full enough from your designated usage, it pops off & you are left with an oops moment..........or worse.
How did we get to this level anyway........................
While moving a few boxes of parts around the house, I dropped (it rolled off the box) an RPK .30 rifle barrel (unbuilt) on my foot like the picture of M35A2-AZ 's foot, except that it hit on the top bridge of the foot. My foot turned purple & swelled up to where no shoe would fit for a week or...
Everytime I have ever done a GL load out, I wear my favorite T-Shirt & Red Wing steel toe shoes. The chemical plant I work @ requires steel toe shoes & after the load out, I go straight to work....no sweat. Hard hat & safety glasses, they are in the truck if needed. The safety poster @ Jax...
I also use Progressive for the last 15 years, they charge me as a private truck, non commercial, for less than the 1988 4 W/D Toyota I used to drive. The tag runs about $145.00 a year.
I hope Florida doesn't go the taxation way of NC or Maryland. At some point, it will be too expensive to run MV's on the road, much less own one or two!
