I went thought the same thing when I did my MC. Then here on SS someone (Tinwoodsman I think) told me the trick. I used a 1/4" drive extension and a 9/16" socket.
Here is my thread.

Good luck!!!
M35A2- AZ- Nice recovery, looks like you had it loaded pretty good. Did you leave the sides and bows on to keep them from bouncing around in the bed? I know the reason for taking the tarp off and trying to figure out for when I do my 101 recovery if I want to leave the bows in place or lay them...
Well I headed out at 0200 from the house and I got to the GL lot at 0920. Got loaded up and tide down and headed for home at 1040.
Went thought a rain storm, that was not fun. Found out the windshide wipers on the truck do not work worth a Dxx!!!!
Got home at 1830, long hard day and 555 miles...
I did put some air tool oil in it about 4 months ago, but I may try a little more.
I have brakes and they are firm and do not go to the floor.
I just was thinking I had heard air when I released the brakes at some point back. Maybe not.
I have a question about the old style air-pack.
When you push on the brakes then release them should you hear air being released?
I am not hearing any air being released when I let off the brakes.
Thanks!!
AZDeuse, There is a copper disk in the solenoid that needs to be turn over or resurfaced.
My truck was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the solenoid disk.
If you get the disk out and both sides are bad, just let me know and I will resurface it for you.
eagle4g63, Sorry, did not mean to take your thread.
I hope my m105's look as good as yours.
GL said they will load it in the Deuce and I will tow one. I have had them load things before.
