Yeah it was temporary storage but it cracked just as I got it full. No more plastic storage drums outside for me. I may use one inside my shop for the generator though. That drum had been outside for a long time. As far as the EPA is concerned... Yeah I'm not even going to say anything I want to...

    M1070 Stalling problem

That is why I always say that engine/drivetrain control computers have no place on a military vehicle.

    old diesel question

If you use blue poly drums, make sure that you keep them out of the sun. Also make sure the ones you get were not out in the sun for a long period of time. What did you do to your deuce this week?

Not too bad. You should be able ( or I can) do 600 miles or better at a time. If you haven't done it already, now is the time to do a seat upgrade. I forgot my butt cushion and I'm still paying for it. Seat upgrade has been moved up on my list.

    Fuel tank leak

You would do well to look into finding an aluminum tank from an a3. The steel tank will rust again eventually. There is no question that rust particles do damage our injector pumps.

    old diesel question

I'm not sure about diesel, but kerosine (Jp8) is said to keep for at least 100 years if stored properly.

Louisiana to NC and back in the Deuce

Just hang on to the feet until I buy something else from you, then you can ship it all at once. I do need a good mailing address for mike though so I can send him the remaining balance on our transaction. Same for you.
