For shure it is not a M416 or any variation of it. The body shape is completely different, should be simelar to the T2 trailer, little wider body, different axle etc. The M416 looks the same as a T2 or M100 from the distance. See maual TM 9-2330-251-14 for the M416 trailer.

I checked an other manual, TM 9-2320-211-10 (which I found located on the wrong place looking for an other manual). 19230 lbs curb is a M54, payload on highway is 20000 lbs, off highway is 10000 lbs.
Even it is some years to late, dm22630, I tried to help. You did not. And you forgot your JD...
According TM 9-2320-260-10 the military curb weight of a M813 is 21020 lbs w/winch, 20355 lbs w/o winch. For the M813A1 the military curb weight is 21120 lbs w/winch, 21355 lbs w/o winch.
According TM 9-2320-211-10 the military curb weight of a M54 is 192300 lbs wo/winch. For the M54A1 the...
Sorry, you are too late. DRMO sales are over (except some forgotten ones). Only change to my unterstanding is someone with space problems....or a city wants to get ridge of the misunderstood vehicle... In Germany not foreseeable, they stay for at least 30 years in service.

To Rolling Eudaimonia:
Sorry, you misunderstood: Visible smoke WILL increase , proved by many exhaust emmission tests. The average says clearly 10% to 15 % more particulates. That does not mean the smoke you see with your eyes on a average Deuce, this is from the test benches with a Hardtrige...
I fit a 6.2 liter Diesel engine to my M715 a little over four year ago. Now I have about 370 engine hours on it (it was a new one from the box) and the performance is ok. I need about 17 to 18 liters a 100 km without trailer and 20 to 22 liters a 100 km with M101 trailer.
As far as I know the stock numbers are different, so there must be a difference. The interior to my knowledge is composed out of the same standard parts.

It is nice to hear that other owners also have temperature problems ( means burnd / overheated oil) with their tranfer. Well, let us remenber the origian of the transfer. It is the WC62 / 63 from WWII. By that time speed and torque was much lower. With nowaday's speeds on the highway I cut the...
The standard CUCV plugs (which say 2.8 Volts on their stamping); are 6 second glow plugs. I set a timer to 5 seconds after I had them blown twice with a ten second setting and had to take out the engine to replace the plugs (Not a nice job in winter in a non heated environement.). The "wait to...
Sorry, can not help you with any kind of electronic photo or drawing of a rear seat frame. To my knowledge there are some shops in the states which live on these vehicles and their parts. Maybe they can help.
I remember to have been a passenger on the rear seats of a "Commander"; seat bench was...
Why you want to use biodiesel? Any electric transformer station cooling oil also will work as well on these old stile Diesel engines (not siutable for common rail systems). Usually the electric companys are happy to get rid of the stuff for little or no money. Do not forget to make it thinner...
RE: Spelling and look uo
to bbf:
They all cook with water. The one likes Mercedes trucks, the other MAN, the third Iveco, the other Renault or Mack or Freightliner or Peterbuilt or Western Star or Leyland or Tata or Fuso or Hino or what else. They are all good trucks built to the intention of...
These military tires are made for a maximun speed of 60 mph according to tire and rim US standards. Even new tires you will blow up, if your tire pressure is set at the military tire pressure. Mine are at 30 KPa or a little more and are some 40 years old and work. 30 KPa is about double (without...
RE: Won an M109 today
