Closest one is 40 min away. I'm going to try the big truck shop in town first. Knowing them the only way they'll have it is in Chrome!

Finally got mine all back together. Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets, all manifold bolts and lock plates, all the t-stat gaskets (x3), replaced the old muffler with a Sinister Diesel flow thru design, and painted the pipes black with a 2000* F paint. All I need now is a rain cap from the parts...
Yeah, until I break the ladder out and do it myself. She's not fond of heights. It stays under a shelter any way, shouldn't be nothing but dust up there.

Got the manifold mounted, torqued it to 35 ft lbs. Painting the first part of the exhaust pipe at the moment with VHT paint. I'll save the rest of the exhaust for a later date.

Be careful about adding so much weight to the tail of your trailer. To little tongue weight will cause it to fish tail. Looks great though!

I normally try to soft mine with it rolling a little. Shifts alot easier that way. If I do it sitting still I normally can't go completely into the other gear. I have to then bump the shifter into drive and back out quickly and it will grind and pop into gear.

So I'm wanting to bring my atv. Is there a place that I can back the truck down into to help get it off? My ramps arn't long enough to get it in and out on flat ground. I can back it into a canal ditch to load it into here, other worse I'll have to drag my M105

Finally got the last bolt out! Got to do one last cleaning, then check all the ports for trash with my bore scope. Hoping she'll be running for the weekend!

I had installed silicone ones on my old M35. 3 months later a small split showed up in one side. I've since put 2 rubber ones on my 923 and one of which did the same.

Engine, tires, and CTIS option would help to determine which version you have.
The side slats are called troop seats. The uprights (staves) slide into the troop seats. It's possible to not have the troop seats installed but it wouldn't be very strong. Here's a pic of the seats in use.

Blowed exhaust gasket on several cylinders. Sounded like a tractor. I had it machined flat. Several ports were pitted along the clamping surface.

Good tip, I can't say I've done it that way before. They're 10x1.5 bolts. I've been missing my good rose bud tip from work. This one I've got borrowed had just a cutting tip on it. It's not heating as fast. I think that's why they're not breaking loose, I normally have good luck with these...
So these bolts are fairly soft, so I'm thinking the were grade 5 stuff. But man are they rusted in there.
I'm going back with grade 10.9 so next time I can just hit it with the 3/8 impact!

Stubborn ain't the word for it! I finally found a torch to borrow, but still not having much luck with pulling them with extractors. I've had to drill them out almost completely and peel them out. They just don't want to unbind from the flange with all that rust.
Did you weld the smaller...
