You just started a thread on this issue yesterday . You need to keep 1 thread on the issue. What does the temperature gauge read when it starts overflowing? Opening the winter front would probably be a good start .
anti freeze leak
Michigan began this last year and rescinded titles and plates from HMMWV's including trucks sold in the late 90's also. Michigan limits the width of ORV's on state trails to 50 inches in width . On a county by county basis ORV's can be driven on the shoulder of local roads but are banned from...
Your assuming the ones that refuse to title and plate it are incompetent , whereas it could very well be the ones that did title and plate it are the incompetent ones.
The M725 will be able to plated for on road use . the way states are looking at the M998 that may not be the case in the near future as they are being sold with OFF ROAD ONLY restrictions. Some people are finding ways around this but it doesn't mean the titles and plates won't be recalled at a...
Post #30 pretty much explains the difference , but keep in mind International Harvester used to make pick-up's heavy trucks and farm tractors all on the same line at the same time . So just because they were coming off the same assembly line don't mean they are built the same.
It should be in one of these two ;

A 9.00-20 NDT is 41.20 inches in diameter http://www.stausaonline.com/tires/sta-ndcc/
A 395/80-R20 is 44.88 inches in diameter https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=395-85r20-395-80r20
So the tires raise the truck about 2 inches .
You should be able to get the heigth of the truck out of...
That is probably your best bet . Sanilac, Lapeer and Tuscola counties are the worst in the state for truck enforcement , all of them have county motor carrier officers who want to ensure enough revenue that their jobs don't get cut.
With Farm Plates it looks like you need DOT numbers >

Anything over 10,000 lbs is considered commercial in michigan the MPSC don't need a reason to stop you to check your paper work they have more authority than the state police.
If your in the trucking business it your job to know the laws of the states your running in . If got off without a stack of tickets here in michigan your D** lucky . No DOT numbers or DOT reflective tape will get you pulled over every time here . Commercial pick-ups with trailers even require...
Should be 4 nuts that hold the backing plate on the studs in the axle housing . Unless the threads got damaged somehow it should be straight forward bolt off / bolt on . Also the steel brake line could be a problem , but thats a easy replacement also.
Keep in mind when you start to charge for your services it becomes a "commercial truck" . Once you figure the the costs for commercial plates , insurance , DOT regulations , CDL ect. you will find it costs more than you can make.
