Push Button light Switch, fire hazard??

I believe that's why the newer version has an external ground wire instead of just grounding through the case.

Anyone swapped a fuel tank for a toolbox?

Thinking about installing another toolbox in place of the passenger side fuel tank on my 931. I never use that tank anyway for fear of developing a leak in the tank switching valve that's so common in tractors. I thought about using the back toolbox off a 923, but would rather have something a...

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

It was in high. Thats why I was shocked when line was pressurized. Probably lines swapped like so many others.

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

Thanks but I have ruled the air lines out. Granted I know I have airline issues but they are currently not causing my front axle to not engage. As explained in first post.

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

Will definitely have to look into that. I have a 1 ton crane with electric winch on the back of my deuce, if I can back up close enough I might be able to use it.

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

Thanks for the offer but hoping to find one a little closer to home to save on shipping. Trucks to big to fit in my shop so will have to swap them out on gravel. TM says to use a transmission jack but that isn't going to roll very good unless maybe a sheet of plywood over the gravel. Anyone...

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

Front end jacked up, front drive engaged, driveshaft turns freely. Couple other things I noticed. When I went to remove the airline from the engagement cylinder it was under pressure. Even with cab switch off. Air continued to blow until tank pressure bled down. Also the interlock cylinder and...

Front axle not engaging, not air related.

M939 Front axle not engaging, not air related. I found out the hard way that the front axle on one of my a2 trucks does not engage, it involved getting stuck behind my house. After spending several hours troubleshooting the issue I believe it is something inside the transfer case. With the air...

    Broke down possible compressor failure

Gave up trying to get the unloader off. Bought a 3400 watt generator and a 2hp compressor. Ran an air line to emergency glad hand and away I went. When I get time I will tear into the unloader and see if thats the problem. If not will check the head gaskets. Or maybe just bite the bullet and...

    Broke down possible compressor failure

Yea thought of that. Unfortunately bed is also loaded with a knuckle boom I picked up so not much space. Plus not sure I could get a gas powered up there alone. Wife is only 5' so not much help lifting heavy objects that high.

    Broke down possible compressor failure

Buddy of mine says to pull unloader and clean it. I just couldn't get it out as close as it was to IP, and afraid if I did get it out I wouldn't be able to get it back in. Any tips on its removal/reinstalation?

    Broke down possible compressor failure

    Broke down possible compressor failure

It's not so hot that I can't hold it.

    Broke down possible compressor failure

I've been stuck in Salem VA since around noon today. Possible compressor failure. Had been driving fine for almost 4 hours then ABS light came on. A little later all CTIS lights start flashing, then my wiper quits. So I pull to check things out. PPV valve not leaking, pulled guts out, started...

    932A2 short bed install

Looks great Andy! Did adding the bed help smooth the ride out any?

    Slave start socket.

Dorman 42061 is a PCV valve grommet that fits the hole perfectly. Only a couple bucks at Autozone.

    Picked up a 923!

Did you get the 818 as well? Drove the 923a2, seemed to drive out real good. Even made him an offer but he refused to split them up.
