RE: some pics from the show..
One good thing is they are talking about doing a later reenactment after the show closes to catch the people leaving the show at 5pm. Looking at my earlier posts I realized they may not be giving the right impression. This event is great and will be great this year...
I just worry about the hassle factor of the general public having to plan ahead enough to load up on a shuttle bus to get to the reenactment on time. We are not talking about walking distance by any means unless you are into road marches. I think the guys running the show are worried about it...
I just got an email from the organizers of Thunder Over Michigan. After a great reenactment, MV display, and WWII encampment in 2006 the airport has basically kicked it all off the airport. All of the above will be moved off the airport to the Wayne County Fairgrounds. They will offer a shuttle...
I would love to have an M-38 but that looks like more of a project than I could take on right now. I have been trying to rebuild and install the winch on my truck for about 8 months and can't even get that done. To much other stuff getting in the way.
RE: Deuce Tranny, Things I
Kenny,
If infants can learn sign language I am sure a 5 year old can learn the difference in 1/4 and 3/8 drive. I think your training program is flawed. rofl I taught mine to get drinks and remotes as soon as they could walk.

The 900 series 5 ton we used for hauling our howitzer had super singles on it. It was rare to see a 900 series with duals and they looked funky with duals. We carried a lot of HE rounds in the back of those trucks in addition to all the extra equipment. The HEMITT...
I know it is not military but I refuse to call any of them "Hummer". They are all Humvees and I really hate H2 and H3. The H2 combines the worst attributes of a Humvee and the worst attributes of a suburban. I don't know what chassis the H3 is based on but again I can see that it does not have...
My F-350 is an old metalworking truck. The door still bears the name ------------ Steel Erection. I put tape over the company name to make sure I am not confused with a commercial truck but I leave the "Steel Erection" part visible. It is the Steel Erection truck to my kids and me.
Our maint section truck was always built up with wood to make a lockable shed. They did the same thing as in the pictures and took a canvas to the canvas shop and had them add in a few feet on each side. The then just draped it over the box to waterproof it. When I picked my truck up from DRMO...
RE: Updated Photos of the little crane that could
I was looking at these for my F-350 awhile back but my front end loader really makes getting one frivolous. I love my tractor. Almost as much as Kenny and Bjorn love their cranes.
