I have never been successful locating some of the parts you show. For the glow plugs I have used the 3/16" spades and a short piece of 1/4" fuel hose packed with dielectric grease. The short connection on the 24 Volt busbar is something for radio equipment noise suppression. I think. NOT...
I must say I have never seen one like that or would I use one like that. That reminds me of a one size fits all part and I try not and use parts like that because of issues like this. Good Luck. Not sure how that works. I will bow out and let someone else address this issue. Be Safe.
How can you possibly summarize that conclusion?
Maybe he is riding his bike to the public library after work this evening, to use the internet to follow up and research.
We need less, "my way or the highway" attitude.

That black wire goes thru the hole in the frame and gets bolted fast to the inside of the frame rail face. It is the ground for the fuel sending unit. Not sure how that works. I just follow the OEM design and it always works. Electrical is my week link.
I found another spare tire tie down set and have the tire bolted in place. I was never a fan of the tire hold down. It must be hammered tight to stay rattle free. I have this tight as I can get it by hand. It seems tight. Gate opens, closes, glass works up and down really well. All is good...
After tolerating terrible weather and getting nothing done on my project for a few days I got tired of looking at a seat pedestal with no seat. Today the weather was wonderful. Time to make the moves count. I moved the M1009 out into the yard.
I set up my table outside in the sunlight and went...
That is a preformed factory fuel feed line. 3/8" hose can be made to fit. I use split loom to prevent it from kinking. It will be a bit longer but it will work. Also trim the end from each side of the hose and get some fresh bite on that hose clamp. I always noticed many of the factory clamps...
I have used a coat hanger or 1/4" all thread rod to make a U bolt pattern/prototype. Bend it where you need it cut it to length. Measure the holes and take it to the shop. After the hanger / rod is bent take notes /measurements and you can darn near get a U bolt made from the hanger and the...
Many places to develop leaks on such and old vehicle. Bad hoses at sections of the feed line. Rusted thru sweating fuel lines. Anywhere air can get in does not mean fuel must leak out. Best to close off the end of the fuel supply line and create a vacuum and see if it can hold a vacuum for a few...

This company is located in Harrisburg PA. They make leaf springs and U bolts on site. Many U bolts that are purchased from vendors are overly expensive. When I call Stanley springs I give the size and quantity and they make them on the spot or while I wait. They...
No progress again. It has been cold here and I am overwhelmed with my regular job. People shortage and virus fears have things crawling along. Hoping for some progress this weekend. Hope the weather cooperates. I have a car here that needs the brake line replaced or repaired under the rear...
No it is a locker when engaged. There is no slip when it is engaged. That is why so many become broken. Thank you. I hope it all works out for you. Be Safe. Glad I could assist. Straight 80/90 works. its all I ever use. I change gear oil annually.
I can see the C clips in the top photo. After the big pin is pulled out you only have to push the axle in slightly and gently to get them to fall out. Use a dab of wheel bearing grease to reinstall and have a helper tug the axle outward when you have it seated. Use a straight screwdriver if the...
Don't. DO NOT. remove the pinion gears. Roll that up with the bolt down. Remove the lock bolt. The pin will slide out with a mild coaxing. DO NOT roll the gears. I use my finger to keep them in alignment. Roll the gear slightly so you can see the C clips. I pull the big pin. Roll the gear ever...
I think you are all good. I wouldn't worry about that. If you knew how many times I swamped a few M1009's in water and injected it thru the air filter you would be amazed the engine still ran and had good oil pressure. these 6.2 may not be fast and powerful. But I know for a fact they are...
Today I was able to get the rear seat scrubbed clean I installed the seatbelts. I don't see many that still stand by themselves. I installed the rear seat. Note the arm rests. I bought them from the Chevrolet dealer back when you could still buy new parts. I also installed the spare tire. I...
