A week after I brought my Pinz home, a drunk kicked me in the knee on duty, destroying it. My knee had to be totally rebuilt. I couldn't even get in the Pinz, let alone drive it. 6 months on light duty in Dispatch. I've been in Investigations ever since. It was my second surgery and the Dr...
Ha Ha, too funny. That's me! Should have stopped by and said howdy. I used to get that pretty regularly. Sadly the Pinz now resides in Scottsdale, AZ. Had to sell her to pay off some debts. It was the coolest ride I ever had. Going to get a new toy soon-ish. It will be green, just...
One of the few good things about growing up in Dayton, OH was the airshow. Seeing the Blue Angels perform was something I looked forward to all year long. Thunderbirds are awesome too, but I gotta say I'm a bit partial to the Angels.

Great info from someone who should know. I thought that weight estimate seemed aweful light for that truck. I can see where maintenance would be tough. Kind of like maintaining a truck and a boat at the same time, huh? What awesome rigs, though. I would love to see the look on people's...
Those things are way cool! How hard are they to get parts for and work on? I heard you shouldn't drive them on dry pavement as they have no differentials. There are a few on Ebay right now for some reason. I don't recall seeing that many for sale at one time.
We worked with them frequently. Cheney has a house here. Got to be old hat after a while, but their toys were really cool. I don't how many motorcades I was lead car in. Kind of fun, but kind of a nuisance too after a while. USSS guys were really nice, mostly kids, very professional.
Nice. The first set of those I saw were on the "Camp David Package" armored Suburbans that the Vice President used when he came here. They were plain aluminum colored. USSS guys got a little weired out when I started asking a bunch of questions about them, run flat, 2 piece combat rims, etc.
