my 6-71 detroit in the ELMO truck has a straight pipe, dumps under the truck by the rear axle,,it can be heard from 1.5 miles away according to my son. i do plan on rwin 6 inch stack witht aht 2 stroke detroit diesel,,that should wake the neighbors,,,in the next state!
best and easiest way to carry spare bearings is to pack them with grease, put them in your wifes vacuum seal bags and suck all the air out, it will actually puch the grease furhter intot he bearing doing so. p[lus it keeps it dry, clean and ready to be used. just vacuum seal it, toss it in the...

is going to be much easier to move the bed forwad and chop off exss frame. besides, that thing with its super long wheelbase is a nightmare to turn around anyhow. the turning radius is about the same as a space shuttle. and still all in all, off roading, i only once had to do a three point turn...
man that detroit sounds good all wound up in the ELMO! just wish there was actually mud in the mud pit insted of water with som dust in it. Was actually looking forwad to getting it stuck. Ferret even made it though, looks completely tan now, but it made it through fine.
zipper boots? NA regular boots are prety easy to put on. We just did the left front on swayze's truck last weekend. Knw that we know what we are doing it aint bad at all.

my elmo certainly needs both new w/s replaced, passnegers side is completely busted all to heck. frames are pretty rusty too, might have to get whiole new assy's.

i ahve seen some REALLY big rocks stuck between duals on some of dwaynes 2.5 there, wouldnt want to be behind that one going down the road. might be as bad as hitting a cow!

there is a town not too far that has like 1 resturant, a dairy queen, and a pizza place. ther eis a cafe on site, not sure it wil be open or not. I may toss in some bottled water, a loaf of bread and some pb&j or something.
