What thickness glass do you need? 3/8 or 5/8? I have 4 new 3/8 but need 5/8.

The HMMWV parts manual list the above three windshield glass. Does anyone know the actual thickness of each of these? I have heard that the Basic Armor is 3/8" thick, but was is the listed laminate and supplemental armor glass thickness? Is there a source to purchase these glass?

I am a new guy to this forum. I am trying to do a frame up restoration on a M1044. It has the correct doors and old glass in it. The glass is a total of 5/8" thick but it has 3/8" of glass and what appears to be a 1/4" Clear Lexan piece laminate on the outside of the glass. The rubber gasket...
