What did you do to your deuce this week?

Changed fuel filters reinstalled and found out that all the rust in the bottom of my primary that I cleaned out, was sealing several pinholes. Ordered new primary filter can from White Owl.

Steering Wheel and Seat Covers for Christmas :-)

Advance Auto has a loaner tool program, I would bet they would have the stuff to do the #2 method. That's fairly common tools, a 2 jaw puller and a bearing splitter.

    Wrong fuel filter?

I got a primary fuel filter in to put in my M35 and I'm wondering if it's the right filter. It's kind of short compared to the housing and the pic in the TM. It's 3&7/8 in tall including the cork gaskets on both ends. Does this sound right? It's a Luber Finer 261F Filter that I got from White...

Intake and exaust manifold off, some questions about putting it back together

I'm unsure of the grade studs that were used for the exaust manifold and intake manifold. The by the chart it shows 70ft/lbs for grade 8 7/16-14 but only 49ft/lbs for a grade 5 so which do you torque it to?

    Thermostat inside seal Question

Heating the housing first is a good idea, I'll have to try that when I get my new one in. I've gotten all my parts from White Owl Equipment out of Kinston, NC. They've had every thing I've needed so far and typically I get them in 2 days being I'm so close to them. And no I never even checked...

    My filter station flaw

Yeah that and the hotter the oil gets the thinner it is and it goes thru the station faster. I pulled the element and put it in the lowest bung that I had on the tank, it's helped but it's still got about a 8 in. layer at the bottom that gets no heat. I've been thinking about repurposing a old...

    Thermostat inside seal Question

Finally got a chance to pull the seal back out and it looks like I need a new one..... Mabey I installed it backwards? I installed it with the lip to the inside. And I just checked the TM and Put seal (2) into thermostat housing (1) so that lip of seal faces outwardtoward thermostat (3). So buy...

    cutting wmo gas or kerosene?

I use diesil also, you already running 1 non-tax fuel (wmo) are you going to pay the road tax on the kerosene also? That would make it as much as the gas at the least. Mine had a gas/wmo mix to start with and it seemed to have a little more power but I would just rather run diesil and remove any...
