Changed fuel filters reinstalled and found out that all the rust in the bottom of my primary that I cleaned out, was sealing several pinholes. Ordered new primary filter can from White Owl.

Advance Auto has a loaner tool program, I would bet they would have the stuff to do the #2 method. That's fairly common tools, a 2 jaw puller and a bearing splitter.

I've heard of folks doing 80%WMO and 20%gas. I've been using diesil but starting to add some gas due to the colder weather

Cold with engine off, just followed the TM. Fixing the exaust leak helped to for the noise in the cab also. It's got a whole different exaust sound in the cab now.

Finally got the intake and exaust manifold back on, exaust was broken had the local welding shop braze it back together. Then the local machine shop resurface it. Adjusted the valves, drilled the hole for the pyro while the exaust was off and installed the sensor. Now for installing the guage...

Hey guys getting my truck back together and can't remeber how the wires running to the alt were routed. Any ideas? It has a wire keeper on it for a bolt, but to which one? Under the exaust or attached to the intake? Help please!

I'm unsure of the grade studs that were used for the exaust manifold and intake manifold. The by the chart it shows 70ft/lbs for grade 8 7/16-14 but only 49ft/lbs for a grade 5 so which do you torque it to?

Will do with the google search, I was just hoping that one of the guy's that had the head off thier engines might would remember the torque. Any idea what grade the original studs were? I got new grade 8 crimped lock nuts.
