I tend to get ice boogers up in the grill and rear bumper of my jeep. Nothing too bad as a little kick makes all the difference. Its always good to do a pre-vehicle inspection every few days...even if it is usually to catch new dings and dents more than "snow boogers" hahaha!rofl
As a man on a budget looking for a deuce I'd chip in depending on the extent of the service and quality done. I would go an extra $300 if everything was in order and the main "problem" areas were inspected/replaced/taken care of in addition to parts. Anything past that would be a little overkill...
You could take it but it has the best anti-theft device known to man: Radiation. You wont know you triggered the alarm until about 20 years later and it will be too late then hahaha!
I use to picture hunt for these types of things and sadly.. "no-touchy!" Heck..no "looky" half the time anyway. But this is just the stuff we know of, I couldnt imagine what has been burried, overgrown, or simply lost.
K.I.S.S method: Keep It Simple Stupid. Thats why nothing can directly compare. Theres no point in having a pocket knife with 100 tools if all you need is a simple blade in a moments notice. Just more stuff to get in the way or go wrong.
I keep reading about all this kind of stuff and cant help but think if another company comes into the market and directly challenges GL's hold on this portion. It would either eat GL alive or force them to conduct fair business if not kill them doing it. Either way..change will come.

I believe ive see pictures of that "lot" before. A few sold on ebay just recently i believe telling by the background alone. But if the price is right...hmm..
There seemed to be a nice wo/w in SA that went for $2002..just wish i had the extra "umph" to bid that high. A slightly lesser looking w/w went for $1985, same place. Its just all a gamble.
I heavily suggest using the search function on "GL auctions" on this site. You never know what you'll get and I mean it. I've read some truly horrifying stories and then some diamonds in the rough of course, but be prepared for anything. But its basically an open auction for a mystery item that...
Dont tell me...it was a truck in SA. I saw it too but mkcoen told me they seriously misrepresented some of the deuces up for auction and took them down. I'm sure the fact it was going for less than scrap didnt help their decision to pull it either. But more in due time..ugh. Just goes to show...
