    It's nuts I guess, but I sure like the sound of the whistler. If it's not a big deal I'll change it, first I 've got to determine what I have, it's sure quiet.

    I'll have a D to trade as soon a I find a whistler. I just looked at mine, How do I tell which turbo I have, exactly? The engine is a LDS 465 1D. I don't see any numbers on the turbo assembly.

    Did you have to make any engine fuel or timing changes? I agree, this site is great. I've read more than I thought existed about 5 tons and have talked to some great people.

    What's the diff. in turbos? I'd like my M35a2 to whistle but my D turbo doesn't. What does the whistler do that the D doesn't? Can they be swapped?

    There's a complete, takeout, 353 on Ebay. $2500.00 Trans and radiator included. Not a bad price if it's as advertised. 353s in good condition are getting a little pricey.
