I replaced the drain plug with a ball valve. I'm not sure if the tank needs to be drained, but I thought it could accumulate liquid and draining was a good idea.
Silicone spray has a lot of good uses on MV's...I use a shot of silicone when assembling Packard connectors. They go together and come apart so much easier.
