I replaced the drain plug with a ball valve. I'm not sure if the tank needs to be drained, but I thought it could accumulate liquid and draining was a good idea.

Silicone spray has a lot of good uses on MV's...I use a shot of silicone when assembling Packard connectors. They go together and come apart so much easier.

I know you have one coming but NAPA usually has them on the shelf, or can get you one within a day.

Not to worry, the feeling will return to your butt...eventually. I drove my Deuce from Sacramento to Denver about 8 years ago...just got the feeling back in my butt maybe about last June. ;-)

Whe the troop seat is in the down position, that area becomes a hand hold to climb into the bed.
