wd4o on m1009 paint
Had an old '66 ford I used to wd 40 the paint when I was 16 really did look good for a week...LOL -

Most local spring shops can make for you. Plus you can add more arch really rides better. Will need longer u- bolts. -

Real easy to do Lmc parts fit well vent rubber is another story..You won't have any problems figuring out. -
How noisy is your 6.2 lit. M1009
Mine also got more quieter with a new injection pump. However they all seem noisy copared to newer ones. -

That u-haul trailer works great for the 1009 towed one from ohio with my suburban really worked well. -

Radiator Flushing with Cascade Dishwashing Detergent?
Yes it works well. I had a post on here a while back on this site on cleaning radiators. Of course if you have a lot of calcium buildup be careful might open some new problems.- mikelee

Injector Pump repair
O.E. PUMP? Start saving pennies sooner or later they crash and as stated you need test bench to verify operation after rebuilding. -

Why not 10w30
diesel oils have higher detergents to keep engine cleaner. diesel engines are typically dirty. however 10w-30 will work fine in cold temps. -
