How did you remove the nozzle? When I tried the breather tube was in the way.

I added the 3 1/2 inch bullit muffler and it works great. 30 MIN install. ease as Pie:-D I can hear my wife yell at me now:wink:

The spin on filters clean the fuel better and changing them takes 10 mins tops. The filters can be found on ebay for around 7 bucks each when you buy 12 at a time. :wink:

You read my mind:-D A full overhaul is needed. Stopping is more importation than going.;-)

Get a rear bearing puller set from harbor and the slide hammer set use the largest one in the set. You will need a 3 inch 8 point socket to remove the nuts. You can use the socket to drive the bearing and plate back into the housing.

I had the same issue it was the connector on the back of the gage.

Upgrade to spin on filters:-D

I vote shop:-D It cost me 20 bucks total with new tube. Let someone who has the tools do it. We had a split rim fail in a cage and it put a big dent in it. We also had a inside rear tire lose a ring on the freeway. It blew both tires off the rims thats why split rims were outlawed by the N.S.B...

Memphis has new ones 45 bucks. A temp fix RTV the back up. How do you get it off? the vapor draft tube is in the way how do you remove it?

I think there is a fuel return line in the system. The clear lines are part of it. There is a loose fitting maybe? I would just block of the line until you get a new pump or just leave it disconnected. The flame heater saids use only at 20- how cold does it get in Co? Turn on the fuel pump and...

I second that. Mine is on the fender driver side.

If you have the tools about 2 hours each side. Down load the TM on axle shaft removal and boot replacement. Get the OD iron kit, maybe 2 wheel cylinder rebuild kits, lift the rubber boots and check for leaks, have them just in case so it won't stop the job if you find a leak. 2 tubs of axle...
