Update on the insurance for the Deuce.
Before I acquired my truck I asked my agent at AAA and he said "no problem". Even showed him a picture but that was 8 months ago.
I finally got around to going into the office yesterday to get the truck insured and, of course, the old agent I had is now...
I "Googled" the Ross HF 54 and came up with numerous "hits".
Looks like it is used on Massey Ferguson tractors as well.
It seems that the Ross unit is manufactured by TRW?

Not that I need them, (hah! yet anyway) and for the sake of conversation, are the lugs and lug nuts available at a truck dealer or NAPA?
ie: universal size/type?
Just in case these ever get boogered up.
pa.rich,
You may be trying to send a picture that is too large. I know I had that problem at first. Try resizing them to the correct 640X480 resoulution. There is an image resizer available in the resources section(an XP Power Toys tool). It should fly then.
Here is an excellant thread on air pack rebuilding experience from Boatcarpenter.

Don't forget the lube maintence of it, (which I need to do).
In case Bjorn sells his here is an option, (but I see you don't need one now). In regards to the starter, there was a thread by a guy (forget and didn't search) that bought one from Carquest (or NAPA) that worked. Just had to fiddle with the holes a bit if I remember correctly.
That is a neat idea. You should start marketing your soap, "Bjorn's Bio-Bars".
You know, Robins warbling in the background while showing a young maiden dancing in a meadow of heather and flowers, "Made in the Meadows of Dan with the highest regard to purity and delivered in a truck using the...
At least that's all they wanted to do, look over your equipment, and not start with the regs and such.
Picture(s).........................please?
Especially when you get there.
Have a safe journey.
Green with envy.
I have been here. Great people. I was given the go ahead to walk all over the place. I'll have to go back. I was there 8 years ago and I didn't have a Deuce then, just a dream.
That is slick. I'd love to get ahold of it and put a flame job on it. 8)
But then, this is So Cal and we flame everything. You should see my kitchen appliances.
Djfreema mentioned this to me whilst looking over Kevins truck last week.
Did a search and came up with this thread.
So to my understanding, since I have to do the axle seal fix, the lug nuts are as follows:
Right side of the truck is "right" or normal like our cars ie; clockwise - tighten...
Oh Canada.......ohhhhhhhh....
Ok, ay.
If they wear flannel ya think they watch red/green and use duct tape?
It has been awhile since I did work for a Canadian company but isn't the exchange rate about 1 1/2 to 1?
Ie: that $10,000.00 truck in Canada is $6,666.66 here.
I was checking the right frame rail on Kevin's truck and found nothing, same as my truck - nada.
The DMV actually told me what year I had. I was thinking it was a '71 and tried to register it that way. After a 20 minute phone call by the employee there to the state capitol, they told me it was...
2 questions:
Who has 24 volt chargers, cost?
I assume that you open all the cells when charing on "Full Throttle" for that long.
Where do you get the sulfuric acid for the batteries? Cost?
I have seen batteries listed here in some threads with the pricing hovering at around $80-$100 ea. Is...
