He was giving me a hard time because he has a M-1009 and I told him I would build build us (him and I) some rock sliders. I have some more videos I will post if I can find them.
I found a video of a riding trip we went on awhile back. This was before i actually made my sliders. In the video you here one of my buddies say your hanging up on your rock sliders, I had just said before I climbed that hill, man I wish I had my rock sliders built!aua
I took some pics last night just so you guys know i'm still working!!! I'm back on these like mad! I had to take a few days off for of all things funerals. I have been to 3 funerals in less than a month. Not good!!! So here is a set I finished up last night and a nice pile of materials. Oh...
I really appreciate the comments you guys leave. They mean a lot to me. I really try to make good parts! I am a machinist/programmer by trade so I am still new to welding, so thanks for the encouragement. The saw is a Evolution Rage II. It uses a carbide tooth blade. It is a low rpm saw...
Awesome!!! Glad you got them! The steps will need to be put back on the outside of the slider body, I reversed them to minimize shipping size. I will answer any question you may have on your install. Just call if you need me.
Thanks buddy!
Darren

I like where you heads at man! I had this same conversation this past weekend on how better to get these out. I have to build me some shelves to put all the pieces on and label them accordingly. I'm really stoked about building these sliders!! I don't want to keep guys waiting is the biggest...
Well heres the deal. I don't like ordering something and it taking forever to get. Especially if it's something that I have been looking forward to buying and I am excited about it. It's just bad business. Do unto others right? The next sets I build should go faster since I am taking...
I had all the intentions of getting this first set done last night. Well I got one side of the sliders done. I added the braces and fixed my oops. Started on the step for the other side. All that is left to do is finish the step, put the sleeves in the slider body and add the braces. If I have...
$480 with the steps, plus shipping. I am only going to take maybe one more order until I can finish up the orders I have. I don't want to get too far behind, plus I don't want you guys waiting on me too long.
A little more info. The two bolts that hold the steps on are 5/8-11 TPI Grade 5. That should hold as much weight as you would ever want to put on them. I used the 1-1/4 sch 40 pipe for the actual steps. That is the same as the supports that I will put in. Due to the step taking up about 16" of...
