    Interesting issue!?!?!?

Yeah it's probably coming from a bad body ground that back fed through the glow plug card. The ground at the passenger rear intake bolt to the cab is all it has unless you added some. The buzz could have been the gp relay. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

GEN 2 lamp went on while driving.

I don't think the glow plug wire will turn on anything since it only gets power when the glow plugs are on plus the wire itself is a fusible link...with that being said the glow plug wire could be burned if it was touching ground when you cold started. As far as the charging my guess is...

    Interesting issue!?!?!?

Guessing radio feedback from the alternators with a touch of a bad ground. Could need one of the interference filters on the power side. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

Ok so you've found that the drivers side alternator charges the front battery and the passenger charges the rear battery. Makes sense now that the drivers alternator isn't working. If you add both battery numbers that's your total number. The system is made to output 24 volts but charge on 12...

Awesome...battery looks great...looks like the stock cables still. Big batteries too. So the voltage regulator is the 2 wire plug on top of the alternator. I should have already said to get a test plug that you can use that makes testing that easier. On my side of the country at advance auto its...

    6.2 Lift Pump Pushrod Seized

once you get the push rod out clean it then cover it with grease so when you pop it back in it will stay. You can get a new gasket for the fuel pump cover or use a quality sealer. As far as getting it back on I use a quarter inch drive swivel head with a short extension...it makes it extremely...

Ok so that is the drivers side alternator that's not working. If you go to the cucv section of this site there's a sticky post about testing the alternator on the truck. You will need a voltmeter to do those tests. One thing you can try though is check or change the bulb in the gen one socket...

This is great to hear!! I have a 17 year old son and has 2 1009s. Don't run to the mechanic yet!! Yes get a multimeter. Doesn't have to do much else but volts. Doesn't have to be crazy expensive. If Amazon is easier than a parts store do that. So as far as power goes it looks like your running...

M1009 Fuel lift pump to fuel filter hard line replacement

Dang!! Having that steel line rust out is not a usual problem. Pretty sure it's a 3/8 line you can buy and bend up to fit. If not the civi is about thr same if you can find one of those. Not sure about 6.5 being the same. I've had the rubber hose chewed up for that line a few times. Sent from...

Yeah they'll use a 3/16 brake line and stick a metric thread on the end that's some weird thing you can't get. It's a jeep thing I'll never understand. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

That's great news!!! Gotta love sunny days and parts that go together correctly. The set I did were for a jeep I was working on so as usual everything is wrong with those. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

I've used those on several trucks! Work great...better pedal feel. I've had to get adapters for the lines to screw in I hope they're the same thread! Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

MEP-802A - can this thing function with a 60' exhaust run?

There might be some engineering info out there on this since in buildings basements in cities have them ...probably some vacuum fans to pull the exhaust out with a certain cfm per foot of run...after so far a pvc pipe could be used since temp would be low...possibly grab a fan off a furnace that...

    MEP-803A with low voltage output

Oh geez ok...I had to go out and try to turn my voltage knob that far...it does go where yours is in the pic...I barely have it off clockwise to get the 240 volts though. I'd have to dig in the tm to see what the diag process is from here. Was hoping it was something simple like a setting...
