Thats an affiliate, just like the MVCC in Colorado and other clubs, most state club names piggy back from the MVPA name.
Joe I agree with you. Has anyone gotton this months due magazine?
Thanks again guys. I agree if you have any tractor you need a trailer on the back. They are not complete without one.
I am pulling 50% of the deck tomorrow and replacing it. And its 30% painted 686 CARC.
Again , really. I was going to start another A2 VS. A3 thread as a joke.
Bob1256 , I dont want to come off as a jerk , welcome to the SS forum. Your on the right web site for MV's and help with them. Let me be the first to point out the Search function at the top of the page, not only for...
Picked up a almost new set of float pads from John W. today. Mine were... tooth picks. Im going to start re doing the wood deck on one side due to some rot issues. Il keep posting pics and stuff to show the progress. -Jay
Yes sir, once again thank you. I was starting to worry and now im wondering why it was designed like that. I guess I will keep this thread up to date with pictures as I go along. , Jay

Figure 52 , it looks like the end of the leaf springs are bent like they have had ALOT of weight on them. You can really tell if you print it out...
Update pic, cleaning , took all the sides off ... it wasnt hard for some reason. Can someone with a 127 snap a picture of the inside spings on their trailer? I wanted to compare mine, Jay
Yeahhhh I think ill pass on the big tires lol.
Chris, let me know how it goes. You will really enjoy it behind the M818 , obviously rides better and you really dont know its there once your up to speed. I wanted the single axle Duece trailer but im done now.
They make a cheap nice LED rotating light that has a magnetic base for about 20.00. Runs on AA batts and last a looong time. I will send you the link if you want. - Jay
Id be happy to give them up if anyone wants them. Im only keeping what you see on the trailer when I got it home.
Matt, they make a heavyer side for this thing? Im not looking forward to pulling the front 3 peices today. They weigh about 300 lbs each right?
Im painting the trailer to match the 5 ton. A pain in the butt ,but it looks good when done. Sure does have USMC all over it.
I wanted to say thank you to jasonjc for ansewering some questions and going out to get measurements of your truck for me.
I picked up a M127A2C today from a guy in Greenville, NC. Nothing too eventful happened , nice slow trip there and back. The M818 did real well with tons of power. Couldn't ask for a better day. Taking off the side stakes took longer than the trip home.
I found the trailer on CL a long time...
I convoyed with a DUKW 3 weeks ago to a swim in Raleigh.. wow, sir talk about lugging almost every gear. Id be just as concered with the much older vehicles and there speed on the trip. Now a truck with a auto tranny wouldnt be so bad.
I agree , this Forum has some younger members that the MVPA...
What type did you want? Im guessing the old RAWL's light. Like the old police cars and such. The Military uses alot of different orange warning lights now. You could easily copy whats on them now. Most are LED rotational that I have seen. -Jay
