WOW 😳. I didn’t realize there was such a thread go get a toy camper. I’ve had my shop van for several years , it’s a ton of fun for camping , mine is completely empty in the rear except the repair table and rifle rack. Perfect for my “camping” , I also have the 11X20 tires. But I also have the 5...
if your using the original rims 12 or 24 bolt. Those are 16.5 rims. Almost NOBODY sells 16.5. 16 or 17 , easy going , and finding nice rims either the correct offset. Not as easy without spending $$$$
Sometimes those starters get “stuck” and won’t engage other than a loud click. Or ( this would be bad ) the motor is locked up for some reason. Try and rotate the motor. See if it spins, if it doesn’t than pull the injectors to verify the cylinder isn’t full of liquid.
Could have been there was something else connected to the 12v supply. Or they figured if they disabled the trans that they could get rid of it and got a new tactical vehicle. ??
Does it have a keyed start switch or a push button ? , I’m only familiar with the a2 that has a power switch and the push button start. I’ve seen modified ones that use a key switch to control both functions. More info is always needed
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone rebuild the ip , usually it’s just replace the gaskets or replace what had failed. If your really adventurous you might replace the bearings or the springs on the advance. Other than that ?? I have like 5 spares , I had more but just took them apart for “ how does...
Just curious , how do you have a couple of 24v push button switches but no truck to put them in to test ? I have always wanted a couple just never could find one I wanted to spend that kind of money on. Having said that🥲 I have several old style switch’s and when I tested them I just hooked them...
I just had this occur to me. Went for breakfast and when trying to return home. Limp mode , went to test the module and no codes light nada. found breaker behind battery box tripped. So I reset it. No shorts found and the trans has no stored codes. I’m guessing it list stored codes when the...
As cool as it looks with the lightbar over the windshield , not that practical. The glare from the hood takes away from the ability to see farther away. Even with the flat paint on the hood it still doesn’t help unless you put a shield under the light to almost reflect it up. There’s a lot of...
my funvee would shake so bad I was afraid to go over 40. Ditched those run flats and put on some Goodyear mtr’s from csm tires , if it wasn’t an issue of the truck running hot , could Cruz 65-70 with only a little viberation. It would help if I got them balanced , but I only go to the legion or...
No you Can’t just remove the injection pump head , there is a notch on the pump gear , if you force off the head you will break off a section of the timing gear , the same reason you can’t just install the ip head without making sure the timing is correct for the head to the pump. However you...
