Ignition switch (actual switch not cylinder) wiring...

My question is, Are you getting 12v anywhere on the truck, or just 24v everywhere? Check to see if the diagrams you are using are the same as the diagrams from the TM The first one is the starting circuit, the second one is one I made from the two cab circuits. Having one page is easier than...

Steering Column - HA!, how hard can it be?

Its not too hard to do, really. If you don't have a metal fish tape, I would tie a shoestring to the old connector and pull the new one in with it after you pull the old one through. Lining up the connector long ways parallel to the shaft makes it easier to slip through. Check and tighten the...

    Electrical wiz needed

I took about five hours Saturday and took apart the passenger door to replace the door glass window seals and the vent window glass seals. The door skin at the side mirror mount was bent inward making the bolt end hit the window glass bottom metal channel. I bent that back outward and suddenly i...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I changed out my front stabilizer bar bushings with some Moog ones I got off of Rockauto. Getting them off was pretty straightforward except for the top bolt on the passenger side. I ended up using a wobble joint and a wobble one inch extension on the socket so it would fit behind the brake...

    Need radiator advice. Replace/upgrade

I just put in a Napa radiator in my 1028 last weekend. The Napa part number was NR 2098. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NRS2098 The radiator pictured is not what you will get. What they are selling now is a 'Spectra Premium' radiator CU850 with aluminum core and plastic tanks, with a Napa...
