That’s a shocking result. Really hard to believe actually. I did something similar but I used mlv instead of plywood. I’m still at 72 db idle and 87 db on the highway.

They must see something inside or a reflection. I had a red tailed hawk full dive into my house window once. It may have thought one of my kids toys was a mouse or it saw a mouse in a reflection . It stunned itself and stood next to the house for 4 hours before flying off.

Where did you find that diagram? The only Air Conditioning TM I’ve seen so far is for the Red Dot style

I had a fault in one tail light. It affected both. Not every time, but most times. it’s the easiest thing to check. Just swap the wires over to a different tail light(assuming you have one)

Aftermarket lights? Or just aftermarket bulbs? Swap them back to OEM and I bet they’ll work. I had a similar problem recently

I have that Orion unit too. I put in cheap motorcycle speakers. They tend to be super loud and waterproof. The ones I bought sound great, but I never use them. The truck is too loud already and it makes my brain hurt to have speakers so loud you can hear music over the truck noise
