^^^True, since you want to tow a modern civiy trailer, Class 3 receiver, wiring, controller. The electric should not be hard since its the same as any other chevy pick up....er....wait they have horrible wiring. But nothing is hard with hard work and research.

I really doubt that the 09 would have a problem. I am not sure of the specs off hand, but I would think it should be in the 4000-5000 range. And welcome to the Site!

A 2000 model 7.3 needs over 500 Part Per Million of Sulfur. A 2012 model 6.6 can have no more than 15 Parts Per Million. All pump diesel is 15 PPM. Off road is higher, but is illegal to run on the road.

I learned that trick from a trucker buddy of mine. It helps clean the injectors. I would not run it every tank. I run it in my work truck from time to time. It has made a difference.

Run some ATF, Marine 2 Stroke, and Diesel Clean. 1 oz per gallon of Diesel

We use Wolf's Head at work for all the Diesel. Seems to work okay. It is supposed to be good for gas and diesel.

I think its the M936 that will do 70. Just get one of them.... I understand your frustration, but this is what it is. You might want to try cleaning the injectors with Auto Trans Fluid and 2 Stroke oil.

Speaking for Extinguishers, make sure you service it once a month. Turn it up side down and hit it with a mallet. Make sure it has good pressure. I had just gotten my work truck when a union worker decided to put the diesel powered welder next to the stack of insulation. I happen to noticed...

At that point I would have opted for a "new" trans. When main parts like that go bad, its time for a bait and switch.
