Hi everybody, I have had my A3 for over a year now and love it! I am now in the process of repainting to a fresh camo and adding some new stuff. You can put me down on your list also please. I do have a set of bed rails (wooden) and head board also old front and rear taillights to...
Receiver Hitch
I got it from Jim , his phone # 724-366-1584. He charge me around $275.00. I was a little concern about the hole match up and bolt size, but it all fit perfit. Could not ask for a better fit.
receiver hitch
Finally found time to install my hitch on my M35A3 the other day. It took about 4 hours from start to finish. Had to call a buddy to help hold it in place untill the first two bolts were in, but I Like It Alot !! Just the right height for my trailer.
Thanks, Indy, I'm sure I will be learning more of all this stuff as time goes by. As long as our US Gov. won't want it back after I finish fixing both truck and trailer.
Hi Guys, Looking so far there has not been a M796A1 Bolster trailer shown here. So I guess I will show you mine. I pick it up this year out of Fort Mead, MD. I Pulled it back with my Ford F250 @ 50-60 Mph. and rode find. Heavy built trailer. Designed to carry poles, Pipe, timber and things that...
I do know that my Tach is not working. I have not had the time to even check it out to see if it is a wire or cable driving tack. If wire, that may be my problem. ( I have the 3116 Cat engine .)
On the charger side of things, I have two each small Schumachers which I've had for years and they...
Well right now I have two smaller chargers on the two GI bat's, and they are coming up to 13.7 now . But I have notice I have a small discharge when I put the cables back on. Something is ON. I have checked all switches. Maybe it is the block heater on the engine. 3116 CAT. Any ideas?
A stopped clock is right twice a day too. I sorry, I wish I could say all is well, but if someone here would have posted a problem ( like I have )about anything --- I would have at least checked out BBB before I bought a new charger from them. Today, with so much dishonesty going around, it...
So now I need a 24 volt charger for my M35A3. Found one at battery plus for a little over $200.00. Wow, these things are not cheap. I bought a Schumacher SE-1072. It will charge 12v,24v,36v,48v,60v, and 72volt at 5-10 amp. GREAT !! I get this heavy thing home and hook it up..........looks like...
They look Okay, I have never seen a picture of the back side of the hood, or the rear of the hardtop. Because my hardtop has the slide window, I wonder if it has the window or just the hole? Or no hole.
I am planning on installing a 24V marine batteries switch that comes with a key lock. you have to run your battery cable from your batts to the back of the switch then batt cable continues from the other post to the truck. This kills all power on all wires between truck and batteries. This...
If I recall , the trans ran up to 225-250 when in slow traffic, then dropped to around 190 - 200 driving 45-48 mph. I hope by changing to Dex III the temp will drop.
Count me in on the New A# 3 Forum boys, Pick up my A3 about 6 monhs ago. Drove it home 300 miles ,and man ---what a nice truck! Still have to change fluids and all, but in time, only a few things to fix, then a new camo paint job. My s/n # is 500705.
Fiberglass Hoods
They don't have any pics on their website for the hood, but John said they do have them. You have to call or email to ask.
If I get Time this week, I will ask them for a Pic.
