All-
My horn worked intermittently, then quit altogether. Today I took some time and started troubleshooting. Removed the horn, connected it directly to the batteries, it worked fine.
Checked to see if I was getting a good ground at the horn via the wiring harness and I wasn't.
Going on...
My horn has quit working and I know the issue is in the "ring" on my steering wheel.
My issue is I'm scared to death to pull the horn button off without some kind of direction as I know I'll end up breaking it beyond repair.
Does anyone have either directions for fixing the ground or can...
Oh! You reminded me @juanprado I have some as well I'll bring!
Just want to kind of bump thos thread and let you all know how freaking excited I am!
I can't wait to meet some of you IRL and see some of you i haven't seen in years!
The verdict is in, I believe I'm going to drive the M715...
I would be hesitant to imbalance my batteries that way. Blinkers aren't a big draw, but over time can lead to battery damage. If you're going through the trouble to install, why not install 24v blinkers so everything matches electrically?
I meant to update earlier... i left the shop last night and my buddy went TO the shop and adjusted it for me. The freaking thing is perfect now.
Tomorrow I'm going to hem him up and force him to tell me what he did! 😁😆😅
