no, it's a modified A2. I've milled adapterplates for the warning lights and milled a hole for the 4th instrument. Dash illumination ist now with LED and on the new SW instruments with their own (24V) bulb.
i don't see a problem with adding this system to a bed and i assume the M109 box has more or less the same subframe. If you want top it, you can add containerlocks, a custom 3 point subframe and you have the best of all worlds:
better off-road capabilities
easy switch between box and bed

I've repaired mine lately. I've cut the steel bar at the edge, drilled 2 holes with big chamfers in a new one, and welded the old studs (also with big chamfers) from the rear. If you need new bolts, don't take screws. Screws tend to embrittle if you weld them. Studs made of mild steel would be...

added 0,25 ltr. black to ~7ltr. sand and get a very close match...repainted the hole cr...
start to reassemble.
