You're pretty limited to the mounting locations with the design, flat sufaces only. You could fab up a bracket and expand your mounting choices, such as on the mirror supports.

You do know about cracking the front windshields open a few inches and closing the door glass, right? It makes the cab tolerable in the Summer. What are you going to do for mirrors when you yank the doors off?
There is a company in Bayonet Point Florida "Gulfway Insurers" that insures my Deuce as a collector vehicle. $198 a year. No garaging requirements. They wanted four corner shots of the vehicle, so they knew what they were insuring. It doesn't get any easier/cheaper than that.

Ty, alot of folks have been buying the cheap "Kill-a-Watt" unit, and getting their frequency information from that. The frequency meter seems to be a little on the fragile side, mine worked for awhile then quit. I purchased a new one from Jay at Saturn. You're right, the Mil-Spec units are spendy.
I don't recall the engine connections, but I have always seen the bottle and valve mounted on the firewall just to the left (facing) and above the steering column. There may be an MWO that specifies this location.
