The coldest weather I have started mine in while in North Georgia was about 10 degrees. It started perfect and I had no issues. I just let it warm up pretty well and off I went.

Many of the ones like that were used in various medical detachments around the country. I also agree with wreckerman's post as to dueces and guns.

Yeah, its because of the radioactive guages. Just purchase a new set and install when you pick up the truck. There was a vendor at the GA rally that had beautifully restored instrument pannels with new guages installed for sale. They were nice.
