The Alaskan looks real nice on a mog....almost like it was meant to be. Much better than a typical cabover camper on a duece.

So how do these work, can they be used to charge a bank of 12V batteries when driving. I use 2 6V golf cart batt in series (to make 12V)for my Duece camper. I want something I can use to charge that system when in transit. Is this a viable solution?

I did not flip it BUT, I have 2 trailers on is up and one is down. Its how they came. Which way is correct im not sure but this one is up which makes it close to level, definately functional.

Yep, a buddy gave me the info on a MOG, thats what gave me the idea to do this. I just wanted a piece of american iron, thats why I chose the duece. google unimog camper and you will find a ton of sites.

This is how I see it: I can go almost anytime with a little notice. You guys can get together a date but I will notify if I plan on going for a weekend before anyhow. Beach is more fun to me in winter months even though its colder. There is a lot less people which makes it more enjoyable...
