We used to use a aerosol spray on penetrant dye for checking welds, was some incredible stuff, I’d bet it would light up the smallest cracks in a block?
So far my calendars fairly clear. Will be up late Wednesday or early Thursday. I have a tow bar and my shop is only 30 mile/45 min away in case anyones needs assistance, or wants to see how there truck handles dragging me home if I break! [emoji6]
Whats your best guess on what your engine ate? Also anyone know if these heads where prone to crack between the valves, or did something abnormal cause that?
Thats the joy of 16.5’s. If you have a really good air source, soap the beads, use a lock on chuck with the valve core removed, and another air hose with a wide-open nozzle and blow air in the bead.
