Sounds great Kieth. I'd like to come but I'll be doing our town parade at the same time. We also end up at the cemetery and have a service. Last year we had a fly-over. MV's are welcome at ours as well.
Here's a pic of one. The grab bar came out of a scrap yard from the outside of a cab on a big otr truck. It easily mounted into the deuce cab using an already existing hole in the dash on the left side.
Hey Brian, there is the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Applefest too. It's later in August or first of Sept. 67beast can give the dates. But it might also be a good weekend to have your event, as there is a military vehicle show and people will be there with their trucks for that too.
You might not be...
I still need a copy of the TO-35C2-3-499-1 also. I saw one at a repair shop once but they would not let me make any copies. They had gotten it from the AF when they had brought in a couple gensets to get worked on. If anyone ever comes across one, please let me know.
Did you have the cable engaged all the way onto the speedo? The square drive cable end needs to be aligned with the gauge's square socket before it can be inserted completely.
Hook the drive end of the cable back up with the speedo end laying loose and take the truck for a drive or raise and...
Thanks, already have that printed off. Prior to that section, the TM mentions removing the ASK in order to remove the blower housing in order to get to the 'battery charging alternator'. I posted the question thinking there may be a common failure with these 'alternators' that might be corrected...
I thought I remembered this being discussed before but ran a search and didn't find anything so I'll ask.
I've got an mep002 genset that will not send charge to the batteries. I checked the fuse to the battery charging alternator and it is ok. This unit has the ASK on it and will need to come...
The floodlight dash tag is a nice touch. The 'posts' that the lights mount to in my installation were also from a bridge truck. Wish I could find another one getting parted out.
Kendelrio, those rear mounted lights are great medicine for the driver following with brights on....
At 2000 rpm's I'm running at about 55 mph. 2200 and it's doing 60. I always run it at 55 but you have to pay attention or it will easily creep up to 60. I suppose the speedo could be off as I've never checked it against a GPS, radar, etc. The truck is fresh and tight with just over 1000 miles on...
You'll love it or hate it once you have it in. Remember it takes someone else with one to be usable. It will pick up a couple tv stations though.... Also, the rack will take the place of a passenger in the rear seat and your back seat will not be able to be lowered if you want extra room. They...
Mine will run at 60 all day, even on hills. Granted the hills aren't that large around here. The only trailer I've pulled with it is the M146, and it doesn't know it's there.
