I'm not allowed to discuss dates for the spring event. If I do my Tourette's syndrome goes at 110%.
It's in the thread. Just keep reading through and go with whatever was posted LAST. Don't let the dates in the middle distract you.
Here's a pic of them installed. We woke up to no rain so we skipped breakfast and got them on. Then I took Soldier B to Jack In The Box to make up for the missed meal.
At DiesalBob's suggestion I hooked them up to the circuit breaker. I already have 100W H4 headlights so the light switch is...
None of that for me right now. Taking heavy duty meds for back pain. I guess I'm not supposed to mix them. Though, it can't be any worse than intercepting a flaming doughnut.
Not sure if the "READ THE TM" crowd noticed this pic. There's a full set of PRINTED deuce TMs on the shelf. I even printed the engine and tranny TMs and the M105 TMs. Maybe if I read them once in a while I wouldn't have someone posting 30 links every time I ask a question. I'm PROUD to be one...
Convoy lights are together and waiting for a break in the rain to install on the truck. I built the first one, Soldier B took over after that. We were going to spray paint them TAN, but I'm working with Mark aka 100Dollarman aka Hundy to just paint the whole truck.
Rat is supposed to be out here for my retirement party which will probably be in the exact same spot, just a couple weeks later. I'm sure he will be flying though. I'll round him up a suitable MV to use.
After we finished installing the fittings/valves for the heater, we beat feet to the garage to open the box Mr. Fed Ex dropped off a few hours ago.
Thanks to my shipmates in chat for the tip on the lights.
Pretty nice opening New In the Box parts. Soldier B put on some plastic gloves because...
As it happens I JUST bought mine a few hours ago. They are 3/4 inch pipe thread. We used an elbow to clear the dual alts and then installed a couple ball valves. Rain is coming so I won't get the actual hoses installed for a couple days, but everything is ready.
Hope this helps.
Congrats on the Soldier B! I suggest starting her out in a deuce before moving up to a 5 ton. She'll learn more that way. She should be able to handle a 1/4 inch drive set when she starts walking. I know you're excited, but don't rush her on turning the big wrenches. It will happen soon...
